Jude's 1st Haircut!

We gave Jude his first hair cut on Sunday! 

BEFORE (please excuse that seasonal snotty face..)

 We didn't want to take him anywhere to get it done because we knew he wouldn't sit still for a hairdresser! It was exactly the struggle we assumed it would be...

 Luckily I didn't snip off an ear or anything while he was pushing me away like that. ;)

 

It certainly took some team work! Matt had to actually perform the first snips because I was too scared to "ruin" his cute baby hair.

I didn't shed any tears when I chopped off over 10 inches of my own hair, but I certainly could have cried when we cut Jude's hair for the first time. If I had let myself think about it any longer than I did, I probably would have.

I don't know what it is..

Maybe it's because he's my last baby, and he's growing up too fast. After all, he is pretty much a giant...he doesn't look like a baby anymore. Especially with this new haircut...is it just me or does it make him look like an official 3 year old?? (He's not even 2 yet!!)

As soon as I grabbed the camera, he grabbed his sneakers and an apple. So, enjoy:

Oh, and that team work I mentioned earlier? Daddy did the ears...

Yeahhh, that's gonna bother me for a while.
